05.05.13: Negative doping tests at the European Juniors. All 16 doping tests carried out at the European Juniors were reported negative by the Cologne laboratory.

26.05.12: New date for WEC 2012.
Organization of the WEC is moved from 14-15 September to 28-29 September.

15.05.12: The organization of the European Open in Mariupol did not quite meet the EPF standard but the results by the lifters were outstanding. Several World and European records were broken including the impressing World record of 1135 kg in total by Carl Yngvar Christensen from Norway in +120 kg. Results

18.01.12: Eleiko supports European powerlifting.
Eleiko and EPF have signed a contract that secure European member federations maximum discount when buying Eleiko equipment. To gain advantage of the contract, federations must contact EPF before ordering.

30.05.11: EPF award of Merits in gould are given to Ivan Zbandut from Ukraine and Wolfgang Zimmermann from Czech Republic for their long and good work for powerlifting at national level. Congratulation.

12.05.11: Arnulf Wahlstrom from Norway continues as EPF President for 4 more years together with his team of EPF officials. All present EPF officials gained resurgent confidence at the General Assembly in Pilsen.
