The European Powerlifting Federation and Luxembourg Powerlifting Federation welcome you to Hamm, Luxembourg for the Western European Equipped and Classic Powerlifting Championships, 3rd - 5th September 2021.
We will be welcoming 63 Athletes, 32 Male and 31 Female from 10 Nations - Luxembourg, Netherlands, Lithuania, Spain, Belgium, France, Germany, Estonia, Austria and Norway.
Hall Omnisports in Hamm SC Hamm was founded in 1970, and at first was only used for weightlifting. In 1992 the club introduced Powerlifting, and together with FLHLP, Gaston Parage and Alain Hammang organised 23 European and World championships. In 2008 they created the first HIGH PERFORMANCE CENTER for POWERLIFTING in Hamm, Luxembourg.
Hamm is 5 km from the centre of Luxembourg City and is also part of the old town of Luxembourg.
You can find many big shops in Kirchberg which is just 5 km away. All public transport in Luxembourg is free of charge. You can get a bus, train or tram and the bus stop is in front of the hotel. The bus will take you directly to the city centre.
If you wish to take a tram, ask at the hotel front desk for the number of the line. In the city you can take the tram directly to the Kirchberg if you want go to the shopping centre.
