It was good to have Miha Zuan, Sports Manager of EUSA and Cedric Terret, President of the French University Sports Association attending this event.  Both Miha and Cedric are very interested in helping with the development of Powerlifting in European Universities.

The final day started with the 69kg category gold going to Clara Peyraud from University de Grenoble, setting a new world Junior squat record.  This was followed by the European Junior Bench Press record, the World Junior Deadlift record and the World Junior Total Record earning her the Best Lifter award after a day of perfect lifting.

The 76kg category gold went to Klara Zmeskalova of the Tomas Bata University in Zlin.  The 84kg gold was won by Cecile Brotons of the University de Lyon.  And the 84+kg category gold went to Agata Kalicia, of Wroclaw University School of Physical Education. 

The Final Women team points were:

1st University de Grenoble

2nd University de Paris

3rd University de Lyon

In the Men’s 93kg category,  gold went to Richmond Baiden of the University de Paris.  The 105kg category gold to Matevz Bratina, University of Maribor and the 120kg category gold to Sebastian Stanek, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.

The Final Mens team points were:

1st Universidad de Cadiz

2nd University de Paris

3rd University de Grenoble
