The European Powerlifting Federation and Luxembourg Powerlifting Federation welcome you to Hamm, Luxembourg for the European University Cup Classic Powerlifting Championship in Hamm, Luxembourg, 23rd to 27th March, 2022. There will be 114 athletes participating, 70 male and 44 female, from 18 nations.
Luxembourg City is a lively and bustling capital with a lot of great touristic attractions to visit and a multitude of things to do. As a cultural platform, it abounds in venues for artistic expression, such as museums, theatres and concert halls. The centre region of the country is home to nearly 170 different nationalities that have chosen to live in or next to a capital at the heart of action.

The old city of Luxembourg and its fortress has for long been part of the UNESCO World Heritage. With high-tech buildings running alongside historic monuments, the capital represents a rich tapestry of contrasts and urban experiences.

Covid restrictions
Each country has set up and introduced their own distinct travel restrictions and quarantine requirements. They should be followed to the letter. Please review them prior to booking your airline tickets. Each day, prior to your departure, be sure you check the requirements, as they may change without notice. All delegates traveling to an EPF event shall be required to follow the entry requirements for the country hosting and directing the competition or meeting. If there are no specific requirements for a country, the EPF recommends that all athletes and delegates have a valid negative test for COVID-19, no less than 72 hours before time of entry into the country. Please ensure that you carry this document with you at all times. When necessary, the organizer shall be obliged to assist both athletes and delegates to locate appropriate medical centres for tests whenever necessary. The expense of this test shall be the responsibility of the athlete and delegate.
