COVID RESTRICTIONS – REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAVEL TO RUSSIA
In the Sverdlovsk region, where the event is due to take place. there are currently no restrictions on sports events and additional precautions have been introduced to protect the public. You can have access to public places, including hotels and restaurants, shops and medical institutions if you are carrying your identity document or your passport if you are from outside of Russia. In addition, you will need the following with you at all times:
- a QR code confirming that you have received a preventive vaccination against Covid 19 or that you have suffered a new coronavirus infection within the last six months. The vaccines recognized by the Russian Federation are: Sputnik-V, Kovivak, EpiVacCorona H, EpiVacCorona, Sputnik Light. Vaccines received elsewhere that are not on this list will not be recognised
- a medical document confirming that you have received a preventive vaccination against a new coronavirus infection, no more than 6 months ago
- a medical document that you have been infected with a new coronavirus within the last 6 months
- a medical document confirming the existence of medical contraindications for the preventive vaccination against a new coronavirus infection, certified by a doctor and a valid negative PCR test not older than 72 hours
- Certificate of valid negative PCR test, not older than 72 hours
In addition, the following measures will be enforced:
During the entire period of your stay on the territory of the Russian Federation, you must have a valid negative PCR test certificate, not older than 72 hours. The organizer will provide the opportunity to take the PCR test at the venue or at the official hotel.
It will be your own responsibility to ascertain if you will need to quarantine on return to your own country.
