15.01.10: The EPF General Assembly will take place on Monday 3 May 2010 on the occasion of the Open European Championships in 2010. All EPF member nations are invited to take part in the EPF General Assembly and the Championship.

05.01.10: Antonietta Orsini and Jaroslaw Olech are awarded “European Lifters 2009”. Each year EPF appoints the best lifter of each sex to the “European Lifter of the Year”. The calculation is based on the Open European and World championships or World Games. For 2009 this prestigious title goes to Antonietta Orsini from Italy and Jaroslaw Olech from Poland. 28.12.09: Ilkka Seppälä is elected new president in the Finnish PF from 1 January 2010. He follows Kalevi Sorsa which has been FPF President for 18 years. EPF wish him good luck with his important work.
